Malashock Dance School continues to create partnerships and develop programs that enhance the emotional, physical, and artistic development of thousands of children in our community each year. Our goal is to empower children through creativity and movement, creating great dancers and extraordinary people in the process. Our programs are offered free of charge to under-served student populations in the San Diego area, thanks to support from our generous donors, as well as corporate, government, and foundation grants. The foundation of our education outreach programming is our ability to facilitate relevant connections and applications between dance and other areas of life and learning. This can remove barriers in order to enhance communication among students of different abilities, cultures, economic strata and levels of traditional academic achievement.
